What I am here for …

I was placed on this planet to use my gift in communication so that others may appreciate the beauty of life and God’s amazing creations.

Eversince I can remember, I have always been a writer. I have often been told that writing is, indeed, a gift, as not everyone has the propensity to write. For me, being a writer is more than just a profession. It is both my identity and mission. Through writing, I am able to express gratitude, reconcile with those I have been in conflict, convey love and appreciation, share my joyful experiences and thrilling adventures, and simply make the world a better place by giving focus to what is good and beautiful.

I know that with every word I choose to write, I am making a decision to either sow love or hate, positivity or negativity. I will always make a conscious choice to do the former. Words are powerful and their effects are lasting.

Borrowing the words of St. Pedro Poveda, I will season what is tasteless wherever I go, in the place where I live and among the people I meet … and this I will do through writing.  Deo omnis gloria. 🙂
